Encryption

Encryption is an essential technique in protecting sensitive data against unauthorized access, ensuring their confidentiality and security. It involves transforming data into an unreadable form, called ciphertext, using mathematical algorithms and cryptographic keys. Only authorized individuals who possess the correct keys can decrypt the data and transform them back into their original form.

Encryption can be used to protect data in transit, during their transfer through insecure networks, as well as to protect data stored on devices or in storage systems. By implementing encryption, organizations can ensure the protection of data against interception, unauthorized access, and theft, contributing to maintaining the confidentiality and integrity of data, as well as compliance with security and data protection regulations.
